Amore Pizzeria & Ristorante Review | Zionsville, IN

Amore Pizzeria’s New York-style pizza has been voted the best pizza in Zionsville, Indiana by the “Zionsville Times Sentinal.”  They have New York-style pies made up at all times so that you can order by the slice, plus Amore Pizzeria has ample seating room to sit down and order your very own pizza, calzone, pasta, or grinder.  They also have appetizers, and I tried their garlic knots, pictured below, which packed quite a garlic punch.

I enjoyed my pepperoni pizza from Amore Pizzeria as it was so greasy and thin that I had to fold it to eat it like a true New Yorker.  The slices were also very big, and I was unable to even finish three of them.  A couple other things I liked about this restaurant that aren’t directly related to the pizza are that they have shakers of garlic salt in addition to the standard parmesan cheese and red peppers, and that they serve Barq’s Red Cream Soda.  The staff at Amore Pizzeria was very friendly, and they gave my entire party of seven free soft drinks for it being our first visit there (and I didn’t even prompt this by telling them that I would be writing about their pizza).  I would say it is definitely worth getting at least a slice from Amore Pizzeria if you are ever around the Boone Village Shopping Center in Zionsville.
