Antonio’s Review | Parma, OH

Antonio’s Pizza in Parma, Ohio was one of the first pizzerias in the Cleveland area, and it continues to be family-owned and operated with a total of nine locations.  For the first time in the history of this website, I started my meal off with a salad (that’s right, a salad…it was not a typo).  I only did this because the Antonio’s Special salad was recommended to me by a trusted source.  It had a nice amount of cheese on it as well as cooked pepperoni, so I was okay with the salad.  More importantly though, the sausage and pepperoni pizza that followed the salad was outstanding.  The ample grease from the meats and cheese formed together to create a delicious taste.  Plus, the sauce had some good herbs and spices, and the pan crust was pretty good.  However, the most impressive thing about this pizza was the sausage.  I can honestly say that I think Antonio’s sausage is the best I have ever tasted on a pizza as it had the perfect amount of zest and spice to it.  If I could change anything about this pizza, I would have had the toppings go closer to the edge with less of a crust on the outside.  Still, Antonio’s offers a great pizza that needs to be sampled if in the Cleveland area (unless you’re a health nut, in which case this website might not be the best use of your time anyway).

What I Ate: Sausage and Pepperoni
