Wasena City Tap Room and Grill Review | Roanoke, VA

Wasena City Tap Room and Grill, which boasts over thirty beers on tap, recently opened in Roanoke, Virginia.  Their diverse menu includes burgers, tacos, and more, and I settled on a basic cheese pizza.  Wasena City Tap Room’s pizzas are handtossed from their homemade dough, covered with their homemade marina sauce and baked in a stone hearth.  I liked the crust as some olive oil and potentially other flavorings were added to it, but I wasn’t a huge fan of their sauce that was slightly sweet.  I found their cheese to be rich and flavorful.  Overall, I enjoyed my pizza from Wasena City Tap Room and Grill and would recommend giving this new restaurant a try.
