Pollo Pizza Pasta in Greensboro, North Carolina serves New York-style hand-tossed and pan pizza. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni New York-style pizza pictured above and found it to be pretty average. The toppings were okay, and the crust was a little crunchier on the edges than I would have liked. Nothing stood out about the sauce or cheese too much as I even added some parmesan cheese to throw in another flavor. I don’t want to be too hard on the pizza at Polloa Pizza Pasta as there was nothing particularly wrong with it, and I ate several slices. However, I would guess you might be able to find a better pizza in the area.
Polla Pizza Pasta certainly deserves credit for having a vast menu though. They have many appetizer options – including the garlic cheese bread pictured above, which was also just about average. Their menu also includes salads, soup, sandwiches, chicken, and pasta. It seems as though they do a nice job of offering lunch and dinner specials as well as carry-out pizza deals that include some of their other offerings, such as wings. Overall, if you want variety, Pollo Pizza Pasta would be a good place to go in Greensboro, however, it likely isn’t the best place for pizza specifically.
