Bella Mia offers coal fired pizza and other Italian dishes in the Raleigh-area of North Carolina. My favorite thing about the sausage and garlic pizza that I had at Bella Mia was its crust. They must use quality dough because it tasted great without having any additional flavorings added to it. I also liked the fact that it remained soft and was not charred. Additionally, the toppings had good flavor and seemed to be very fresh – although I typically prefer the ground up Italian sausage over the sliced link sausage that was on their pizza. My pizza seemed to be a little light on sauce and cheese, but what I could taste of it was pretty good. Bella Mia also serves beer and wine, and it’s in a nice location by some other shops which makes it a good place to spend an evening.
