Trimbo’s “Off the Hook Pizza” is located in historic downtown Butte and is known for producing quality East Coast-style pizza and calzones. It was started in 2007 by two Italians from the East Coast and recently became famous when Man Vs. Food’s Adam Richman attempted to devour their five pound Jomboli Stromboli. While I didn’t have the gumption to attempt such a feat, I did enjoy a delicious sausage and pepperoni pizza that was approximately four pounds less. I can’t say anything negative about the pizza, and I especially enjoyed the crust and sausage. The crust is fairly thin but is just thick enough to be nice and soft, my personal preference, as opposed to crispy. Additionally, the sausage was of the crumble variety and had some nice spunk to it. Beyond the pizza, calzones, and humongous strombolis, Trimbo’s also offers salads, sandwiches, and wings. I would recommend Trimbo’s Pizza to anyone in Butte, and they also offer delivery in case you can’t make it to their restaurant.
