Bennidito’s Pizza in Spokane has a cool vibe, and I would describe it as a cross between a trendy pizza place and a sports bar. It has a fun atmosphere inside, and I think it would be even better to dine there during good weather because they even have a nice patio outside. One thing that definitely helped my impression of Bennidito’s was their selection of local beers on tap as well as wine, and their pizza further solidified my positive thoughts on them.
I ordered their Maui Wowie pizza without pineapple, because pineapple simply doesn’t belong on pizza. So, my iteration of their Maui Wowie pizza had mozzarella and fontina cheese, prosciutto ham, and pancetta bacon. The cheese was rich and creamy, thanks to the fontina I believe, and the meats were excellent. The crust ranged from crispy to puffy on different parts of the pizza, and I found it to be a little dry. Still, I really liked Bennidito’s Pizza and would rank it just behind The Flying Goat as my favorite pizza place in Spokane.
