City Pizza & Pasta is famous for their St. Louis-style pizza offering, and they also make traditional pizza along with Chicago-style. Beyond their pizza varieties, they serve salads, sandwiches, calzones, canolies, wings, and pasta. This was the first time I have ever had St. Louis-style pizza which is known for its provel cheese, thin yeast-less crust, and square-cut slices. Overall, I was very impressed with this pizza as it was quite flavorful. The provel cheese (a combination of provolone, swiss, and white cheddar) is very rich and creamy, and it is what stood out to me the most. The crust was pretty good as well, but it was almost too cracker-like and flakey for my tastes. City Pizza & Pasta claims to be Colorado’s home for St. Louis-style pizza, so if you are a fan of it and in the Denver area, then you definitely need to give this place a try. It is a pretty small restaurant, but the employees were some of the friendliest I have ever encountered and delivery is offered.
