Lagasse’s Stadium is essentially an upscale sports bar on the strip in Las Vegas. It is a great place to watch a game, or several games, and they even ask you what game you are wanting to watch when taking your reservation to make sure they put you at a table with a good view of it. There are TVs everywhere, and the one pictured is just their big screen in front of the true stadium seating.
I sampled a couple of their traditional sports bar appetizer offerings – the Bavarian pretzel and chili cheese fries – and enjoyed them both. Seeing as this is an Emeril Lagasse restaurant, it probably would have been wiser to get a Cajun dish, but I am a sucker for pizza whenever it is on the menu.
My spicy sausage and pepperoni pizza at Lagasse’s Stadium was okay, and it had pretty good meats and cheese. However, I found the crust to be too hard along the edges, and nothing stood out as extraordinary about the pizza. I still enjoyed my meal and view of Indiana University winning the Big Ten title at Lagasse’s Stadium, but, based on the reviews from my fellow diners, I would recommend trying one of their Cajun entrees in lieu of the pizza.
