Wind River Pizza & Pasta is located in the small, yet very scenic, town of Pinedale in western Wyoming, and the restaurant itself does a good job of fitting in with its surroundings. It has a log cabin theme on the inside and outside, and the walls are lined with pictures of the beautiful surrounding areas. I tried their lunch buffet which offered soup, salad, a few sides, and pizza. I believe the buffet was a new offering for them, and therefore there weren’t many pizza options on it, so I only had pepperoni (there were a couple other options but they included vegetables which I don’t believe belong on my pizza). The pepperoni pizza had a good average thickness with a nice round, soft crust, and I also enjoyed their cheese bread. They prepare their own sauce and dough, and I think that was evident in the light and airy crust. Salad, sandwiches, calzones, pasta, or your very own pizza can also be ordered during lunch or dinner time at Wind River Pizza & Pasta. If you find yourself in Pinedale, I understand that Wind River Pizza & Pasta, Wrangler Cafe, or Wind River Brewing Company are your best dining options.
