The size and atmosphere of the Ale Emporium are very impressive considering that it is located in a strip mall. Moreover, it might boast some of the best tasting pizza I have ever had inside of a restaurant with such an unassuming exterior. They offer pan and thin crust pizza. However, I have only had the pan pizza as it is too good to allow me to even think of ordering something different. The crust is average, but the sauce is good and the sheer quantity of cheese won me over. There is so much cheese, that I have seen lesser men than me actually remove some of it from their pizza (you know who you are). They serve a lot of other food besides pizza as well, and their french fries are particularly delicious. The Ale Emporium also lives up to its name by offering a very wide variety of brews. If you ever need a hearty meal while in the Castleton area of northern Indianapolis, I definitely recommend the Ale Emporium.
