It seems as though a lot of the large restaurant franchises are now starting to try to capitalize on pizza’s popularity, and Chili’s is no exception. They recently began offering pepperoni, five cheese, taco, and southwestern chicken personal nine-inch pizzas. The pan crust of my pepperoni pizza from the Chili’s in Carmel, Indiana was decent, but it also made up the majority of the taste. This is because there wasn’t a lot of cheese or sauce, and the pepperoni wasn’t extremely flavorful. I feel as though it is better to stick with some other dishes that Chili’s has been serving for years as opposed to their pizza. While it wasn’t awful, I definitely don’t feel comfortable recommending it over any pizza places in the area since Chili’s is just a late addition to the pizza bandwagon.
