M. Mogger’s Restaurant & Pub is in the very cool E. Bleemel Building, which previously housed M. Mogger’s Brewery in the mid-1800s. The atmosphere within M. Mogger’s Restaurant & Pub retains a lot of that older charm, complete with some antique brewing equipment. Staying true to the building’s brewing roots, they also boast an excellent beer list. Additionally, they have a diverse food menu, and, thankfully, flatbread pizzas are part of it.
M. Mogger’s flatbreads aren’t like the wimpy flatbreads that enrage me….my Mogger Meat-ta Pizza had enough cheese and a solid amount of toppings. The thin curst on their pizza really just allows you to eat more without filling up too quickly. Their flatbreads come in one size that is plenty to fill up an adult, and I would say it could be split if you aren’t too hungry or want to try an appetizer first.
Even though M. Mogger’s Restaurant & Pub doesn’t specialize solely in pizzas – they have a lot of other tempting items on their menu – I actually enjoyed my Mogger Meat-ta Pizza slightly more than the pizza I got at Terre Haute’s Wise Pies Pizza. In all fairness, this may have been because my slices from Wise Pies were prepared earlier and reheated when I selected them, so I should probably try a fresh pizza from them. Still, M. Mogger’s Restaurant & Pub is a great option in Terre Haute for good beer, pizza, and/or other food.
