I knew nothing of Papa’s – a cute restaurant just off of Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana – when I visited it, and I was very impressed with the pizza from what I thought was just a small local restaurant. The crust had a good thickness, and they were very generous with toppings on my “Butcher’s Block Pizza.” Three adults were unable to finish our very filling large pizza, and our waitress brought out a to-go box that boldly stated “Indiana’s Best Pizza” on it. I don’t know who voted on this, and, while I can come up with a few competitors for this prize, it is certainly one of the better pizzas I have had in Indiana. You can check out more of their selection on their aptly named website below.
