Many locals consider La Casa Pizzaria to be the best pizza in Omaha, and I made sure to try a pizza that fit the locale; the Classic Hamburger Pizza (I didn’t see a steak pizza as I suppose that would be the only one more fitting). This pizza is made with 100% prime ground beef, precooked slowly with seasonings and fresh onions. It is offered with your choice of romano or mozzarella cheese, and I just chose to go with both as I could not make up my mind. I was most impressed as this fairly thin pizza did basically taste like a slider, and the hand-twisted crust was also good. Don’t worry if you don’t like onions like me as you can’t taste them much even though they are precooked with the meat and not an option to remove. La Casa Pizzaria also offers a lot of other specialty pizza options, but if you like hamburger and pizza then this one is a no-brainer. Additionally, not that I would ever encourage someone to get something besides pizza, but they also have appetizers, calzones, sandwiches, salads, pasta, and other Italian entrées as well as beer and wine. There are two La Casa Pizzaria locations in Omaha, but it seems that the one on Leavenworth is more recommended as the other location has a scaled-down menu. Some people have even rated La Casa Pizzaria as one of the best pizza places in Nebraska, and, while I think that might be a bit too high of praise – or Nebraska doesn’t have that great of pizza – it is definitely worth a try if you are in Omaha.

Hi!! My family owns a place called Bene Pizza and Pasta in Omaha Nebraska . Have you been there?? If not you should!! The Greacies is pretty wonderful!!!! Come check us out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the message. Unfortunately, I have not tried Bene Pizza and Pasta, but I definitely will if I am ever back in Omaha.
I was shocked at the utter lack of politeness by the staff at the West location. After being told they only accept checks or cash, the guy suggested we go to Sortinos pizza. What sort of idiot, in a city with hundreds if places to say, actively suggests to his potential customers that they eat somewhere else? Why is this restaurant stuck in 1980s technology ?!
