Nancy’s Pizza Review | Fishers, IN – CLOSED

Update – The Nancy’s Pizza in Fishers is no more.  They still have several locations in Illinois, a couple in Georgia, and even one in California though.

Nancy’s Pizza has multiple locations in Illinois, a couple in Atlanta, and one in Fishers, Indiana, which is the one I got my pizza from.  Not surprisingly, since this chain is from Illinois, Nancy’s Pizza is most famous for its stuffed, or Chicago-style, pizza.  Naturally, I had to try their stuffed pizza, and I also had some of their thin crust pizza, pictured below, so that I could try multiple offerings from Nancy’s Pizza.  It should be noted that I wasn’t able to try all of the different types of pizza they make though as they also have “Stuffed Lite Pizza” and “Super Thin Pizza.”  I really enjoyed their stuffed pizza and would say it is comparable to the more widely-known Giordano’s.  The cheese, toppings, and sauce, which is made from plum tomatoes, were all excellent.  The dough for their crust is made from scratch daily, but its flavor didn’t stand out too much to me.  The thin pizza, which I had Canadian bacon on, was also good, but I think it is probably better to have the stuffed pizza at Nancy’s considering it is more of a rarity.  They also have appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pasta on their menu.  My only warning about Nancy’s Pizza is that the Fishers location is delivery and carryout only, and their hours cater to the dinner croud the most.  Still, I would say they offer the best option for stuffed pizza in the Indianapolis area.
